Art Reimer Scholarship

This scholarship is being awarded in memory of Art Reimer, a long time WNY XC and Track & Field Official, an educator, avid runner, husband, father, family member and friend who was best known for his handlebar mustache and a wonderful sense of humor. Art was taken from us prematurely in July 2010.

Art’s commitment and love of running began in high school, remained throughout college and became part of his adult life. It continued with his dedication to cross country and track & field officiating.

In his memory, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to one young man and one young woman from Section VI who meet the criteria that defined Art.  The scholarship will be offered in the 2010-2011 to 2015-2016 academic years.

Application package - The application deadline is March 31, 2012 and most be post-marked by then, no exceptions.  The application must be completed in its entirety.  Spelling, grammar, neatness and completeness will all be considered.  Any questions, please email Linda Reimer.
