Hutch, Honors win titles There was no 1-2-3 finish this time, but the Hutch-Tech boys came close Tuesday in capturing the All-High cross country meet title for the second straight year and wrapping up the overall championship for Buffalo Public Schools over a 2¹/2-mile course at LaSalle Park.

Junior Robert Taylor (13:52) led the victory for coach Dave Sardo's Hutch team. Taylor was third last year when the Engineers took the top three places in the meet. Defending champion Dustin Russ of Hutch was third this time. Second place went to Michael Coad of Leonardo daVinci. City Honors was second in the team scoring.

On the girls side, City Honors dethroned Hutch-Tech as the meet winner and overall champion. Junior Allison Frank of daVinci took individual honors in 18:25, but City Honors captured four of the next five places. Amanda Merner and Brittany Gray of the Centaurs were second and third while Sara Miller and Shannon McDonnell took the fifth and sixth spots for coach Margaret Cardina's team.
