PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

I do not charge for the use of photographs taken by me and used on this site.  I will honor requests for a photo and will send the image in it's original format to allow hard copy photographs to be made by the subject, subject's family or coach.  The resolution of the images on the web site will not support a print larger than 4x6. 

The images carry a Section6Runs watermark embedded in the image itself and is not to be used for any purpose other than personal use by the subject(s) in the photo image.  As almost half the Section6Runs photos find their way onto Facebook or other social networking sites, this would be considered personal use.

Photo images found in the Parent's Gallery are placed there by parents, students and/or coaches.  Please contact the individual who took those photos ( I can probably get you in contact with them) as I do not have permission to allow distribution of those photos.

Yearbook Requests
Many requests have been made for using photos in school yearbooks and I will not charge for the use of the images as long as full photo credit is given to "Bill Wende - Section6Runs."  If photo credit is not given in the published (print or web site), I will contact the school district to discuss this breach in trust.

The purpose of the site is to give the student-athletes recognition for their efforts and to preserve a moment in their lives which may have been significant to them, their family or coach. 

Commercial Use
If a photo is being used commercially without permission, legal action will be taken to stop the use of the photo and damages will be sought.  There are also model release issues that must be addressed  as well in these instances.  If there is a need to use a Section6Runs photo for use in a commercial project, please contact me and we will discuss the matter.

Exceptions
Compensation will be asked for if a photo is enhanced which means printing poster sized photos, adding graphics to an image or anything that requires some creative skills.  Also, any out-of-pocket costs incurred to producing the final product will be passed along. This will be discussed at the time a request is made.

Donations
If you should feel so inclined to support the web site financially, a Paypal link is set up below to allow this.  Section6Runs is not registered as a non-profit or not-for-profit organization, so it is not a tax deductible contribution.  Although the site is a labor of love, expenses are incurred to go to the meets/invitationals to photograph the kids.
