At the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships held the weekend of May 3, 2008, Casey Green (North Tonawanda) was honored as a Track Athlete of the Year (there was a tie between her and a girl from St. Lawrence). What is interesting is that her former teammate from North Tonawanda, Alyssa Pirinelli was named the Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year...article
